Originally from Belfast and now living in Berlin, the vinyl only DJ started mixing when she was studying Marketing and Business in Dundee. Her and her friend, Rebecca Butler, already had a vast selection of House and Disco records and learnt to mix on an old pair of Vestax donated to them by a friend. After learning the ropes, the pair began playing at The Reading Rooms and Sub Club under the alias, Sister Swedge in 2010. And after noticing that no other women ran a night at the venue, they founded their own party in the city which toured venues across Scotland. “It was mainly male dominated so we were like fuck it.”
